Hibiki Japanese Harmony 2021 Limited Edition
In Japanese Harmony, Everything Finds its Place
The 2021 limited edition bottle design of Hibiki Japanese Harmony pays tribute to the Ryusui-Hyakka (One-Hundred Flowers and Flowing Water). The design motif epitomizes the cyclical passage of time, showcasing the blossoms of the Japanese twenty-four seasons juxtaposed with the ever-changing flow of water that connects one passing season to another. We celebrate the much-loved blooms, colors and shapes of seasonal flowers that make the Japanese year so special. Each blossom is an exquisite, delicate creation evoking treasured memories, sensory pleasures and emotions.
The Art of Japan’s 24 Seasons
A blend of Japan’s 24 seasons from its three soul places, Yamazaki, Hakushu and Chita distillery. A tribute to the 24 subtle season changes from the ancient traditional lunar calendar, to emphasize the crucial role of Japanese nature on whisky maturation.

The Art of Blending
Hibiki Whisky was brought to life by the artisanship of blenders at the House of Suntory Whisky. The Master Blender tastes over 100 malt whisk samples, having final say on the subtle, refined, and complex flavors of Suntory whisky. "To become a blender at Suntory, one needs to be able to communicate with whiskies that can not speak." The words of founder Sinjiro Torii live in all Suntory blenders' minds. The Art of Blending is a continuous collaboration of blenders of the past and the future.
Rich in Japanese nature and craftsmanship
Hibiki ("Harmony" in Japanese) was born in 1989 to celebrate 90 years of Suntory Whisky. In 1987, Master Blender Keizo Saji decided to develop a blended whisky to reflect the sophistication of Suntory's techniques. Over his career, Chief Blender, Koichi Inatomi, sampled and tasted aged malt whiskies from one million casks at Suntory. Saji and Inatomi then found the flavor by blending thirty distinctive malt and mellow grain whiskies. Hibiki Whisky is a truly harmonious blend rich in Japanese nature and craftsmanship.

The Bottle: An Icon of Japanese Luxury
Rooted in the Japanese sense of beauty, the Hibiki bottle features the 24 seasons of Japan as jewel-like facets with a Echizen Washi Paper Label crafted by Eriko Horiki and the Calligraphy by Tansetsu Ogino. Each element of the painstakingly handcrafted label reflects Japanese aesthetic. The neck of the bottle is encircled by a band of deep purple– Japan's noblest color. The Hibiki limited editions always feature the best of Japanese culture and craftsmanship whether it be the Aritayaki, Kutaniyaki, or seasonal motifs.
